Mr. Jim Loback informs us about the "STORIS MUSEUM"
"We are in the process or obtaining the former CGC STORIS for a museum in Juneau, Alaska. This will be a museum for all Alaska's maritime history as well as Coast Guard and the Revenue Cutter Service. Asbestos, the only cause for the cancer mesothelioma, was often used in many aspects of military life (shipbuilding, boiler rooms, housing, etc.). Unfortunately, thousands of people have contracted asbestos-related diseases because of their unknown exposure."
