We continue to have problems with SPAM.  I have installed a registration approval system. This means I receive notice of someone wishing to register. 

I require a name to go with the login as well as some comment about the person's relationship with the Coast Guard.

We do not restrict registration to Coast Guard Combat veterans.  The purpose is to have people learn about the Coast Guard and its warrior past and present.

I am rejecting approximately 30+ registration requests a day--all spammers.
